About me. I am a seasoned professional who has worked in diverse settings across the city as a marriage and family therapist, clinical supervisor, and clinical director. I bring these experiences to my private practice where I work with individuals and couples. I believe strongly in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship to create change and forward movement for my clients.
My Approach. I work from a psychodynamic perspective. I am interested in exploring the relationship between early life experiences and present day concerns. My ongoing training in Jungian analysis leads me to be curious about dreams, unconscious motivations, and the remarkable mystery of being human. I love my work because I have a deep respect and reverence for the unique facets of each person’s psyche.
Educational Background. I’m currently in training to become a Jungian analyst at the C.G. Jung Study Center of Southern California. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University-LA and my Bachelor’s in English from Williams College.
Fees. My hourly session rate is $200 per session for individual work and $225 for couples sessions. I offer a sliding scale and accept some major insurances including Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare.
Licensing. I have been licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences since 2007, license number LMFT44733.
